About Leave Hacker
Leave Hacker finds the days of annual leave to book around bank holidays and weekends, so the same allowance buys more days off.
Tell it where you work and how much leave you have. It plans your whole leave year: a break around every bank holiday, the exact days to ask for, and a message for your manager. Then it finds cheap flights and stays that fit each break.
It's free. It runs in your browser at leavehacker.app/app, on Android, and on iPhone, which is in beta. You don't need an account: you only sign in to plan with a partner or a group, or to keep your devices in step.
Who it's for
Anyone with a set amount of leave who wants more from it. That might be 25 days and a Monday to Friday week, or part-time hours, a shift rota, school holidays or a leave year that starts in April. It covers the UK, Ireland, every Australian state and territory, and the US.
Bank holidays come from gov.uk, other countries' public holidays from their governments, and school term dates from each council's own website.
How we make money
When you book a flight, stay or holiday through one of our links, the travel site may pay us a commission. It doesn't change the price you pay. We never sell your data, and links that can earn us money are marked "Ad".
Commission doesn't affect the days we suggest: your plan is worked out before any trip is shown. Our affiliate disclosure lists the partners and how the links work.
Your privacy
- Your calendar stays on your iPhone. If you allow access, the app reads it to spot leave you've booked and plans a break would clash with. Calendar data never leaves your phone.
- To find flights, the app sends only your departure airport and a break's start and end dates. Nothing else is sent, and nothing identifies you.
- If you plan with a partner or a group, you can choose to share which days you're free. That's worked out on your phone and is never your events.
